There’s a small collection of Keith Haring X Tommy Hilfiger footwear available at Colette. And we especially like these rainboots. It’s always good to have a pair of rainboots in Holland. And these also support a good cause with the Keith Haring foundation. The foundation uses Keith Haring art to serve important social causes, supporting research and caretaking organizations that fight against Aids.

H&M has a pair of leather and flowerprint dungarees in the Spring collection, and we sort of like them. Even if it’s not the most flattering thing to wear for a woman.
Dungarees used to be worn by feminists, and are called a ‘tuinbroek’ in Dutch (translate: garden pants). It actually says enough about its purpose, a great outfit for when you’re gardening!
Are you a fan of Alexa Chung‘s fashionstyle? Then you’re gonna like Vogue UK‘s new feature where Alexa sends in a daily mobile pic of her outfit.
She’ll be doing that throughout the month, because it’s Alexa’s month ON and IN Vogue.
She’s originally from Alaska, and went to highschool with Sarah Palin ( yep, that one). After being the most booked fittingmodel for the world’s best jeanslabels, she started her own business: Paige Premium Denim.
We interviewed Paige Adams-Geller at the Modefabriek where she presented her already very succesful label.
The b*tch is back! We heard that line before. Did it not also appear in Gossip Girl when Georgina came back? Well, for anyone that has been following MTV reality soap the Hills, we all know Kristin Cavallari…Lauren Conrad’s biggest rival. Especially when it comes to men. But we do like Kristin. At least she has some attitude to spice up things down there in LA. She’s digitalistic!
And she also spiced up the cover of ASOS magazine. The online retailer asked her to model for the magazine, but also make a selection of her ASOS favorites. We like!
Opening Ceremony is doing well with all the collaborations. Now our favorite shop in Amsterdam ‘Rika‘ has designed some items for the Opening Ceremony stores in New York, LA, and Tokyo.
The Rika brand is no stranger abroad, you can find lovely Rika bags @ My Wardrobe and whenever you’re in Paris go check out her stuff at Colette.
When terrible things happen, like the earthquake in Haiti, everybody starts creating charity projects. Which is a good thing, but the fashionbusiness is a billion dollars business that could do a bit more than they’re doing right now. The only ‘fashion-related’ charity projects we’ve seen lately are more personal initiatives like the fashionshow of Sarah Brown and Naomi Campbell, and the CFDA initiative (including Diane von Furstenberg, Tory Burch, Ralph Lauren…). Maybe we’ve missed something, but did all the big groups like PPR, the Gucci group and LVMH make a donation already?
