Our pretty always looking damn gorgous petit Frederique – a.k.a. Fred N – is off to Paris for the Paris Fashion Week. And he’s there to keep you posted from the French fashion scene. Check out The Digitalistas this week for some fashion scoops, runway photos and more made by…

Digitalista M., Digitalista E. and our Digitalista muse E. were in Paris. And they had lots of fun. Oui, oui, off to…. Paris!
“Oh Micky you’re so fine, you’re so fine, you blow our mind, hé Micky!’ We could ‘ve written that famous line, after listening the new single T.L. from Paris-based singer Micky Green. Who she is? A blond style-icon and former muse of Karl Lagerfeld. What she makes? Think groovy, jazzy, vintage and poppy songs!
Without even knowing that it was National Macaron Day in France, Digitalista E. & M. and Digi Muze E. tested a lot of macarons in Paris on the 20th of March. We went from one patisserie to another and after six different stores we became a little sick. But the results are clear! The McDonalds macarons were too soft (you can’t even call them real macarons) and the ones from patisserie designer Pierre Hermé were far out the best! They even put pink pearl sparkles on it! The Digitalistas were in heaven…
If there would be a photographer whose work I would like to see on my bare wall, it would definitely be Rankin. The photographer and co-founder of Dazed & Confused and Another Magazine, is also one of my favorites. Maybe I should make a Top 10 of my favorite photograhers? They are so inspiring!
But sticking to the subject…Rankin has an exposition in Paris at the moment: ‘Eat Me Naked‘.
Balmain: what’s not to love? Christophe Decarnin presented his autumn-winter collection 2010 during the Paris Fashion Week this week. And we love the dress with laces!
Does this looks good to you? Well, be jealous, because we’ll be there! The 19th of March in Paris, le city d’amour…We can’t wait to rock!!! See a sneak peak below.
From model to designer. Kate Moss‘ bags for Longchamp were presented yesterday evening at the Ritz. A good way to get noticed while couture week is full-on in Paris at the moment. The bags, that vary from party clutches to shoppers and travelbags come in red and black leather as well as zebra prints, and might just match a new couture outfit.
We love the adventures of Alice in Wonderland, our old time favorite Lewis Carroll story! With the movie coming up (directed by Tim Burton and with the gorgeous Johnny Depp in it) Parisian department store Printemps asked designers to create a bespoke piece for the most fashionable fictional character. The results are amazing.
