If there would be a photographer whose work I would like to see on my bare wall, it would definitely be Rankin. The photographer and co-founder of Dazed & Confused and Another Magazine, is also one of my favorites. Maybe I should make a Top 10 of my favorite photograhers? They are so inspiring!
But sticking to the subject…Rankin has an exposition in Paris at the moment: ‘Eat Me Naked‘.
Since he the use of ‘erotism’ is not strange to his work, the exposition features a lot of naked bodies hanging on the wall. Some of them are never shown nudes from Kate Moss, Heidi Klum, Eva Herzigova and his wife Tuuli.
It’s not the only project on Rankin’s mind at the moment: He has released seven new books this year, and his work from the book ‘Cheeky‘ will be exhibited in the Anroy Gallery in London from March 11th to April 11th.
The prolific photographer stays modest: “I never looked to do anything more than take photos, I just do it because I love it.”
So if you are a lucky bird visiting Paris at the moment with some spare time on your hands, go visit this expo!
