Designer Iris van Herpen showed her latest collection Capriole during de Haute Couture Week in Paris. With that, she also debuted as an official guest member of the Haute Couture calendar. Dutch pride in Paris. No wonder the Washington Post wrote: ‘No other designer on day one of the three-day-long couture calendar came anywhere near to pushing the envelope as far as van Herpen’.
Oh no! It’s the last day of the Amsterdam International Fashion Week. It costed us lots of coffee breaks, long nights without sleep and big dark circles under our eyes. But what the hell: we had fun! Today it’s day five of the AIFW. And it will end soon after the fashion shows of Claudia Sträter, Replay and Bibi van der Velden.
It’s day three of the Amsterdam International Fashion Week. Today on the schedule are the fashion shows of Collectie Arnhem, Claes Iversen and Supertrash. And ofcourse we’re also present.
We loved the latest collection of Viktor & Rolf. Especially the cut out dresses in pink and blue. It really made us think of our Dutch ‘gatenkaas’ (translate: cheese with big holes in it, so digitalicious!). Now on the cover of Dazed & Confused: Magdalena Frackowiak in one of those lovely dresses. We like!
