It is meant to be satiric, as the director Wendy McColm wants to confront the viewer with the contradictions between beauty and intellect, often implied by the media.
The short film features French actress/blogger Jeanne Damas, who personifies a tormented, self-righteous ‘bohémienne’: “This film was a chance to creatively redefine the cliché image of women. It’s a fun story with a deeper layer and a dark side,” she says.
