So we decided to make more posts about food. I don’t think we need to remind you, but we LOVE to eat. And we start to become quite good cooks ourselves while practicing. Who knows, we might become the new Nigella Lawson’s!
We both have our specialties; Digi E is all about the Asian cuisine, and Digi K has French roots, but is into ‘global cooking’. Let’s start with something from our neighbours, Belgium. It’s mussel-season so we crave for ‘Moules et frites’.

Because we think they taste like heaven… That’s all we have to say about those tiny, cute little, round, delicious, fashionable thingies. And us Digitalistas love to share all the good tasting stuff with you. That’s why you’ll find every week a digitalicious topic.
Inviting us for a lovely cozy dinner surrounded by the crème de la crème of the Dutch blogger scene: well, we don’t say no to that. While Digi K is enjoying a shopping trip to Stockholm, Digi E. went for a night out to do something she’s really good at: eating!
Because we desperately need that pair of Louboutins, those amazing Balmain leather pants, a 4 week trip to the Maldives, marrying John Mayer, being BFF’s with The Olsen Twins AND Victoria Beckham (ok, and maybe Suri Cruise because of her amazing million dollar wardrobe), being just as tall – and beautiful – as Kristen McMenamy, have our wedding pics (with John Mayer) shot by Mario Testino, being sponsored by Karl (and Marc!), drive in our own custom made pink Fiat 500 and have a pug named Digito. Yes, we DO need the chocolate!
A short while ago we had a small presentation from Ilja Visser. She’s a talented Dutch designer, you probably read some catwalkreport about during AIFW.
So now she wanted to present her Autumn/Winter-collection from her subline ‘Ready_to_Fish‘ in a smaller setting.
We’ve spotted some delicious chocolate cookies at the press presentation of Ready to Fish’ autumn-winter collection 2011/2012. Dutch designer Ilja Visser invited us to take a peek at her latest collection. And besides those lovely cookies we’ve found some amazing Ready to Fish chip bags too.
Here are the whoopies. The answer after cupcakes and macarons. It looks like a sweet little hamburger with cream filling…yummm!. We spotted them at the Sunday Up Market- Brick Lane…
Found at the bookstore: this lovely book of Dutch illustrator – and writer – Jill Schirnhofer. The 19 year old launched her second book full of fashion, shopping, food and hotspots around the world. From Paris to New York: Jill knows where we have to take a pitstop!
