Today is ‘Sinterklaas’. For those not familiar with the concept, it’s a Dutch tradition. Comparable with Santa Claus. A few weeks before the kids put out their shoes to receive little gifts, often candy. Tonight Sinterklaas drops from the chimney to leave gifts and (rhyming) poems.
