From January 10 until March 7, 2015, you can see a result of Hoogendijk’s quest of subjects to visually shift to ‘the other side’. Powerful images that display the diversity of people. At the base of Micky Hoogendijk’s work you will usually find an encounter, dream or subject that leads to an explosion of ideas. Recurring themes are religion, society and mythology. Sometimes she plays with perspective, sometimes with a different view of reality.
The exhibit shows a selection of color and black and white portraits which give the spectator a pause for thought.
