Kate Moss made it brunette bombshell for Vogue Italia’s December issue. It’s a whole lot of ‘bum’ in your face in this 50’s inspired editorial. But hey, if our butt looks as tight as Kate’s when we’re over 35, then we will be proud to show it off too!
See our favourite pics from the editorial after the jump>>>
If you thought you had your part of transsexuals in fashion, then guess again! Miss Amanda Lepore, probably one of the most famous transgenderists personified some of the world’s supermodels for Tush magazine.
25 magazine, the new magazine of Anja Rubik and her boyfriend is a nice supplement to the media landscape. It helps being a model to get your fellow models in front of the lens, but the results are worth it. Like this shoot with Karlie Kloss. The model I shared a bateau mouche in Paris with once, and back then she was still this shy and innocent girl klinging on to her dad.
When you’re a model and your boyfriend is a cute and popular DJ, then why not pose together for an editorial? That’s what model Maryna Linchuk (the girl from the Miss Dior commercial) and her guy DJ Salvatore Morale did for 25 Magazine. The photoshoot also got filmed. The picture above says it all. Posing with your boyfriend throws just the extra layer of intimacy over the image. The chemistry is not acted. Lovely frame!
Here’s something from our hero Mario Testino again! The guy is a real world traveller. From Rio for his own book to a Mexican themed editorial in V magazine, he’s up for anything.
The always perfectly tanned (how does she get that lovely caramel colour??) Daria Werbowy crawled into the skin of Mexican actress Maria Felix, also known as la Doña.
Did you know that photographer Steven Meisel has shot every cover of Vogue Italia since 1988? With his contribution to this month’s issue he takes over half the magazine. The ‘Runway’ editorial he made counts 80 pages.
We’re not done yet reporting about V magazine’s Size Issue. At the look of it, sales of this issue can only be rising with all this online plugging!
Karl Lagerfeld has also been contributing to the issue. Slightly contradictory due to his anti plus-size remarks. Quoting: ”People prefer to look at skinny models…”
A preview of an editorial shoot with plus-size models, from the V magazine Size issue, was already shown on models.com. So most of you have already seen the pictures. No need to place the whole editorial, but we also want to show you something else.
Because actually this is all about women being projected the way they are, embracing their assets. It’s all about a positive body image, even if that’s being curvy. And there is already enough photoshopping and retouching as it is. Australian Marie Claire also makes a statement with model Jennifer Hawkins posing naked and UNRETOUCHED on the cover.
Couture-pieces are precious and delicate, so try and find occasions- besides parties and galas- to wear these frocks, not easy! Elle Italia has found a new way to wear couture. While rollerblading! You wouldn’t come up with that one right?
Photographer Alexei Hay put model Liya Kebede on rollerblades, and this is the wonderful result….
