Dance is the new chic

So you think you can dance has got serious competitors. Some big names in fashion got inspired by dance as well. Black Swan and its costumes designed by Rodarte might have instigated this new trend, it’s definitely on a roll for some new campaign videos. From breakdance to flamenco. If you don’t show the moves, you ain’t cool.

Swatch X Kidrobot

Digi K has developed a little fetish for cute Japanes dolls since she met Totoro. That’s why she had to have a look at the new Swatch X Kidrobot collection. The Swiss watchmakers started a collaboration with this cool lifestylebrand and developed watches with a matching Dunny. A Dunny is an iconic figure that looks a bit like a bunny and it’s used like an empty canvas on which several artists released their creativity.

Must-go: DON party at the beach for a good cause

Joining us too?

Although the weather is as bad as hell – dear Summer, where are thou – that doesn’t mean that we don’t like beach party’s! We’ve found one to visit this weekend in Scheveningen: DON (Diabetes Onderzoek Nederland) At The Beach, a party to raise money for a good cause. Lounging against diabetes with dj’s such as Erick E, Frederik Abas and Prosper Rek and special guest appereances by Dutch rapper Lange Frans and DON ambassador Michiel Borstlap. Are you joining us too?

Video: Pharell Williams for Palladium “Tokyo Rising”

After the 3/11 drama in Japan, the Japanese people picked up their lives and creativeness within a different context. Even though Japan is a country sensitive to earthquakes, and challenges still lay ahead, artists and creatives take part in this reality and try to turn it into something positive.

N.E.R.D.’ s frontman Pharell Williams joins the Palladium team to his second home, Tokio, for a post-3/11 exploration. Art Director Sebastian Masuda, designer Yoon and musician/rapper ‘Teriyaki Boy’ Verbal show him around….

2011 is Digi E’s freshmen year in PR land as she can call herself a real PR lady for fashion and lifestyle PR agency Spice PR since July. And she’s definitely lovin’ it next to her job as a Digitalista! Well, travelling around Europe (twice a year to Stockholm, twice a year to London, twice a year to Copenhagen, at least) to represent fabulous fashion brands isn’t that bad at all. She already signed up for KLM Flying Blue membership… Halleluja!

Coffee break Digi style

Having a tasty capuccino with our name (actually our favorite abbreviation- our complete name wouldn’t fit) on it is quite an honor. Especially made by an Illy caffe barrista at the Unlimited PR blogger-event today. That’s what we call a coffee break in style.
