During our London Fashion Week last September, we did receive an invite for the show of David Koma. But we didn’t go, because we’re probably busy with shopping, eating or surviving a hangover (well, Digitalista K. and M. Did!)
after some great kind of fashion party . But now we regret it, because David Koma became the BFF of many celebs.

And especially Digitalista E.! During our time in London she ate a cupcake every day. Back in Holland she got a little bit disappointed, because Holland doesn’t have good cupcakes at all (you Dutch people don’t know how to make cupcakes!!!). Till now. Lily’s Cupcakes saved our day.
Tu connais les Plasticines? Well, they Rock! We love them because they are French and Digitalista K. is half French and also because they are real rock chicks, just like us! (lol).
After launching a succesful jewelry line, House of Harlow 1960, Nicole Richie started her own ready to wear label: Winter Kate. Still based on her daughter’s name, whose full name is: Harlow Winter Kate Madden.
My Wardrobe.com will have the exclusive online launch of the brand early 2010. It consists of feminine maxi dresses, delicate chiffon and lace jackets and tunic tops featuring ethnic-style prints, designed to be layered, or worn individually.
To complete the picture with Winter Kate, Richie expanded her existing accessorie-brand House of Harlow 1960 with a line of footwear, that will also be available at My Wardrobe.com.
“I am a complete alcoholic. It used to be so easy to say to someone, ‘Get me a bottle of vodka,’ and they’d run and get it. Going to rehab was the best decision I ever made. The last six months have been the best of my life.” —Lara Stone in…
Two ‘eco’ topics a day! That wasn’t premeditated. Let’s say we support everything that contributes to our environment but still gives a hint of stylishness to our daily life, and that happens to be fashion and beauty.
I am quite excited about this new brand: UNE by Bourjois. Especially their philosophy and image around the product, like ‘The beauty of tommorow’ is:
I suppose there is no explaining why Mario Testino is our hero! He made these fabulous pictures of actress Natalie Portman for V magazine.
And that’s not all….among the brands Natalie is wearing she’s also wears our all times favourite fashionbrand…Chanel…Life ain’t fair!
Apparently ‘us Dutchies’ are very good with denim. We have several denim brands gone big and international, such as G-Star and Blue Blood (the last one recently made a re-start). But we also have Denham, Diesel-designer Wilbert Das is Dutch, and we have Kuyichi. And the nice thing about Kuyichi is the organic character of the brand.
Don’t know what it is since we saw George May Jagger in London, but the girl keeps doing things to catch our attention. Now the Rolling Stone-daughter is confirmed as the new face of Versace. Following her mother’s footsteps who did Versace with Richard Avedon in the early days.
Another great initiative from a Dutch designer is Bas Kosters for STOP AIDS NOW. Kosters designed an artbag to raise money for the Aids foundation. Together with two other artists (Tord Boontje and Ronald Boonacker) they came up with three different bags.
