Kiehl’s is one of my preferred skincare brands, so I had to try their Actively Correcting and Beautifying BB cream.
The tube is fairly small and contains 30 ml. of the tinted miracle moisturizer. What I notice first when applying is the slightly pharmaceutical smell -although Kiehl’s is usually non-fragrant- that might be due to the added SPF 50. It also does not absorb as smoothly as other BB creams I have tried, because the substance is a bit thicker. You’ll have to smear it out well for it to cover your skin equally. Yet, these are just minor flaws which don’t really impair all the good things the product has to offer.
Aside from the UV protection, the BB cream is enriched with Vitaminc C and is free of mineral oils and parabens. After application and absorption in the skin, it conceals blemishes, fine lines, wrinkles and visible pores, and feels more lightweight than a foundation.
Last but not least it blends in with your skintone -there are three colours to choose from: clear, light and natural- , provides a natural, healthy glow and moisturizes your skin during the day.
Kiehl’s Actively Correcting and Beautifying BB cream will be available from April for € 29.
