Freaky redheads on the cover, a new trend?

First there was the comeback of Dutch model Rianne ten Haken on the cover of the Italian Vogue looking like a freaky redhead, and on the cover of the December/January issue of the French Vogue model turned actress Laetitia Casta shows a same kind of look. Laetitia was photographed by Mert Alas and Marcus Pigott, Rianne by Steven Meisel.

Is it a coincidence or a new trend? Are we soon going to look like 2010 Barbarellas?
