Last week I had the pleasure of visiting France for a family wedding. The morning of the big day, I gave myself a pool-side manicure in the sun – I needed to look my best, after all!
After cleaning up my cuticles and filing my nails, I painted two coats of Dior’s Dune nail vernis on my nails.
Once dried, I tried a coat of Dior’s Gel Coat polish for the first time. The Gel Coat promises to give your nails a super glossy finish, mimicking the look of a gel manicure.
I was amazed at the results! My nails were ultra glossy and reflected beautifully in the light. I also found that the Gel Coat also helped to protect from chipping, and my manicure lasted a solid four days after application (which is amazing for me).
Best of all, it was super easy to remove: unlike a professional gel manicure, normal nail polish remover worked on this. One quick swipe of remover and it was easily gone!
The Gel Coat can be used on top of any nail polish. I highly recommend it to extend the life of your manicure!
