We’re always up for trying something new, so instead of going to a music or dance festival on this first weekend of September, we decided to go to a wine festival.
Imagine nice weather, and good food. That is what the 2012 edition of Taste of Amsterdam has planned to offer us. The annual food festival lands for 4 days in the Amstelpark in Amsterdam. It is based on an internationally successful concept, and has already achieved its 4th season in our hometown.
Burgundy is the hot colour of the season. And this shirt from Acne has an appropriate name: ‘shining wine tasting shirt’. That might just also be the occasion to wear it…
So we decided to make more posts about food. I don’t think we need to remind you, but we LOVE to eat. And we start to become quite good cooks ourselves while practicing. Who knows, we might become the new Nigella Lawson’s!
We both have our specialties; Digi E is all about the Asian cuisine, and Digi K has French roots, but is into ‘global cooking’. Let’s start with something from our neighbours, Belgium. It’s mussel-season so we crave for ‘Moules et frites’.

Blame it on my French roots, but I have a soft spot for good wine. For instance, I enjoyed a very delicate Valpolicella the other night. (wine experts know this is a good wine).
