We mean Karl Lagerfeld’s short movie Remember Now. The full version can be seen on the Chanel website (just click on the Remember Now-link), and we just can’t get enough of it! The 17 minutes St Tropez party full of beautiful people and cameo’s really reflects the Southern French vibe of the little fishermen’s village nobody ever heard of, before Brigitte Bardot and some movie directors discovered it in the 60’s.
At least some people weren’t dissapointed with the Icelandic ash cloud…I wouldn’t be either if I was stuck in Karl Lagerfeld’s villa in St Tropez!

The supermodel turns out to be one hell of a good actress. Wayne even wrote Deyn could be the next Faye Dunaway. How cool is that?
It seems to be a new trend in Fashionland to make short movies to introduce a product, and the use of iconic actresses to do so. Think of Audrey Tautou for Chanel, Marion Cotillard for Dior and now Christina Ricci for Donna Karan.
