We are frequently ‘on the move’ lately. A month ago we took a road trip with the Citroën C4 Cactus to a destination of choice so we went to Rotterdam: city of architecture and creativity.
2014, the days of a thriving economy unfortunately are long gone. If anything, the phenomenon of fast food chains massively arising is a well-known one. Things got worse when the eruption of ‘fashion fast food’ started to conquer the greater deal of Dutch cities. Now what we have known for a long time is that Rotterdam is a city of innovation.
This year H&M is not just celebrating its being a familiar part of the fashion retail landscape in the Netherlands for 25 years, in October the popular Swedish retailer is also set to open Europe’s largest flagshipstore in Rotterdam.
It must be obvious by now, the Dutch like Scandinavian brands. And these brands return the favour by opening shops, which we welcome ofcourse. Another flagship store that opened in the shop-opening galore of the past weeks is from L’Ecole National. Yes, it sounds French, but it’s Swedish.
