Skinny Anja Rubik for Hedi Slimane

Anja Rubik by Hedi Slimane

The former Dior Homme designer is also a talented photographer, and he frequently posts his pics on his blog The Fashion Diary. Some of the latest pics he published are from Polish model Anja Rubik, and OMG, she looks skinny!!! Her arms are so thin. We think she should eat a bit more easter eggs. She would look way better with a little more flesh on these bony arms…

Digitalistic Expo: Rankin's 'Eat me Naked'

Rankin: Eat Me Naked

If there would be a photographer whose work I would like to see on my bare wall, it would definitely be Rankin. The photographer and co-founder of Dazed & Confused and Another Magazine, is also one of my favorites. Maybe I should make a Top 10 of my favorite photograhers? They are so inspiring!

But sticking to the subject…Rankin has an exposition in Paris at the moment: ‘Eat Me Naked‘.

Digitalistic: Ride your bike in style

Picture from Jak&Jil

This picture by Jak & Jil is awesome. You know why? Because it’s really recognizable for us. How many times didn’t we go all dressed up to see shows, presentations or attend a fashionparty on our bikes! It’s what we call ‘polderglamour’ in Holland. We rather take our bike than a cab or public transportation. But it kills your beautiful heels!

Musthave: Nick Knight Photobook

The Nick Knight book (Published by Harper Collins)

My collection of fashion- art- and photographybooks grows bigger and bigger. I still miss the Patrick Demarchelier-book that I wanted to buy at his exposition in Paris, but it was a bit to heavy. And now there’s another book of one of my admired photographers on the list: Nick Knight. With the famous picture of Devon Aoki as a spacy geisha on the cover.

We like! Ellen von Unwerth for Absolut Vodka

Kate Beckinsale for the Absolut Vodka 'Crush'

Absolut Vodka is maybe the most fashionable Vodka brand. I remember drooling over a picture of Marcus Schenkenberg in the Swedish Ice hotel photographed by Herb Ritts, in an Absolut Vodka/Versace-insert of the French Vogue, which also featured Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell back in 1997.
