Oh how life as an editor can be hard…. Just kidding! Having a champagne tasting on a Monday evening is part of the job, and we would lie if we said we didn’t enjoy it. The eldest of champagne houses –Piper Heidsieck– invited us at new opened restaurant ‘Everything On a Stick‘ to have bites to match the different bubbles they have to offer.
Last night, Marni’s Founder and Creative Director, Consuelo Castiglioni hosted a party to celebrate the Marni x H&M collection: “It has been an inspiring night, surrounded by a perfect setting and a great crowd. LA encapsulated the dream! It is not long before Marni at H&M is in the stores, and I am happy to share these magic moments with everybody.”
If we could just start the day like this every day…with Arizona green tea, sweet cupcakes and a Chanel manicure. Glamour magazine and Chanel made it possible for us this morning. Instead of our usual boring breakfast, the introduction of the new Chanel nailpolish shades for Spring were on the menu.
On Monday evening we enjoyed a great 7 course dinner at Brasserie Witteveen in Amsterdam. It was a guest chef’s dinner organized by Q-creative. A yearly event where three topchefs present their French signature dishes. And this time the three chefs were all French as well! Alain Caron, known from the TV programme Masterchef (the Dutch edition), Jean Joël Bonsens from restaurant Christophe and Gregory Nicole from The French Cafe….
Okay, so it took us a little while…but here they are as promised…For Bobbi Brown‘s 1 year anniversary in Holland a few weeks ago, Digitalista E. was asked to model during the presentation. She was very nervous, so she asked us to be her mental support…

It took some preparation to build the setting of a wonderwood filled with colourful mushrooms and big balloons at the Grand Palais, as we can see on this video.
