Champagne of the House of Ruinart (1729) has a very long history. It was even the first champagne to be packaged in wooden cases in the 18th century, which was unusual before. Reason enough for Ruinart to commission designer Piet Hein Eek for the design of the ‘Ruinart Blancs de Blancs’ cases.
