Dutch designer Anne de Grijff started her first atelier in an old chewing gum factory with two artists and a product designer, but decided to move her studio to a space in the center of Amsterdam at the Rozengracht. She also teaches at the Rietveld Art Academy, so this workspace makes it easier for her to switch locations.

Pauline van Dongen with her designs

Dutch designer Pauline van Dongen debuted at the Amsterdam International Fashion Week (AIFW) with her amazing collection Kinetic Landscapes. A collection that’s all about the effect of wind and water to nature. The Digitalistas spoke to her backstage after the show at the Westergas area in Amsterdam.

Ilja Visser presented her latest collections of Ilja Couture and Ready to Fish_ during an intimate lunch at her showroom in Amsterdam. In her two collections it was all about the mix of feminine and masculine. While Desolation was inspired by the movie Paris, Texas, PLUCHE made a wink to the serious world full of politics.

We’ve spotted some delicious chocolate cookies at the press presentation of Ready to Fish’ autumn-winter collection 2011/2012. Dutch designer Ilja Visser invited us to take a peek at her latest collection. And besides those lovely cookies we’ve found some amazing Ready to Fish chip bags too.

Ilja Visser Ready to Fish: Ms Forrester

Ilja Visser is also a well established Dutch designer. Last season she presented a SMART for which she designed the in- and exterior, and tonight (right this minute) we’re at her latest show from the Ready to Fish collection.

The theme is Mrs Forrester, based on a mysterious woman who is close to nature, looking for a sprinkle of magic. Might she be a witch? That explains the high hats!
