Last Wednesday was the reopening of Shoebaloo’s flagshipstore, and they have found the best way to celebrate…a collection of Shoebaloo Celebration Editions! They have managed to tackle big names in the shoe industry to collaborate on the designs and they are absolute Wednesday Wannahave material.

Dreaming of a holiday in Sicily, I can’t help but love Dolce & Gabbana’s summer collection and the accompanying accessories. Like the striped canvas and raffia shoulder bag.
Domenico Dolce & Stefano Gabbana have a preference for sultry and sensual women; Monica Belucci and Bianca Balti are regulars in their pool of muses, so their latest choice for Laetitia Casta to represent their new fragrance ‘Pour Femme’ doesn’t come as a surprise.
The last weeks have been packed with visits to the press-agencies and showrooms in Amsterdam, to catch a glimpse of the S/S ’12 collections. This is part I of a compilation of the things we came across and liked. Whether it was the overall presentation, or items that caught our eye. Check it out after the jump! >>>
It’s not only women and shoes in the latest issue of Antidote Magazine’s ‘Shoe Issue’. We also like this editorial realized by Giampaolo Sgura, with the help of Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana!

Well, it’s an easy equation; D&G love lingerie (they are Italian, duh). Their Spring-collection was filled with virginal white lingerie-esque clothes. And who wears them better than perfect-figure VS Angels? Right. So, Alessandra Ambrosio, Maryna Linchuk and Isabeli Fontana will feature in Dolce & Gabbana’s S/S ’11 campaign. Lucky girls…
My boss asked me several times if he can carry a bag. My answer is always the same: “Yes you can!” Really, why can’t men carry a purse? Forget the old cliché that a man needs a woman, so he can put his credit cards and car keys in her evening bag; a man can walk alone nowadays, and indulge in buying designer accessory too.
She once propulsed the black Ray Ban Wayfarer into the world of fashion, so who better to think of than Madge to design a line of sunglasses? Exactly what Dolce&Gabbana thought. She recently confirmed the launch of a clothing line, but to start with she collaborated with the D&G boys on a range of six sunglasses under the name of MDG.
Just a little note from a scared and frustrated fashionista; the no-pants trend isn’t over yet! I think I’ll immigrate to the north pole, and go cuddle with polar bears,…
The first images of the Dolce & Gabbana campaign featuring Madge were published in Vanity Fair Italia. As was told earlier by the designers the atmosphere of the photos would be inspired on the authentic Medittarenean/Sicilian heritage and Italian neorealism cinema, very ‘in sync’ with the collection. We must say we really like the picture of Madge obviously enjoying a plate of freshmade spaghetti…Yummm!
