Here’s another example for great packaging and design in beauty products: Tokyo Milk. In particular the two new collections Fate & Fortune and Femme Fatale; wrapped in mysterious black, holding names as Wisdom, Truth, Yesterday, Tomorrow, Destiny and Chance (Fate & Fortune collection) or Tainted Love, La Vie La Mort, Excess, Everything & Nothing, Crushed, Bulletproof, Arsenic and Bittersweet (Femme Fatale collection) .

Shoes or works of art?

Recognize these shoes? They are from designer Jan Taminiau. No wonder that his designs and those from Iris van Herpen are popular amongst artists like Lady Gaga. Always nice to see up close what we’ve seen during a fashion show, and we still have the greatest respect for the models that wore them.

The last weeks have been packed with visits to the press-agencies and showrooms in Amsterdam, to catch a glimpse of the S/S ’12 collections.
