It must not have gone beyond your attention that there’s a little competition going on between Gwyneth Paltrow and Jessica Alba. The subject: healthy lifestyle books.
She starts her Mrs. Carter tour in less than a month, and from the beginning of May we can enjoy the sight of Beyoncé as the fresh face of H&M.
As we have mentioned before, Karl Lagerfeld and Carine Roitfeld are working on a book featuring Chanel’s Little Black Jacket. The first exhibition featuring pictures from the book has been opened in Japan, where many of the ‘models’ made their acte de présence; Sarah Jessica Parker, Alice Dellal, Saskia de Brauw, Clemence Poésy and Vanessa Paradis just to name a few.

Last night, Marni’s Founder and Creative Director, Consuelo Castiglioni hosted a party to celebrate the Marni x H&M collection: “It has been an inspiring night, surrounded by a perfect setting and a great crowd. LA encapsulated the dream! It is not long before Marni at H&M is in the stores, and I am happy to share these magic moments with everybody.”
With celebrity followers like Jennifer Aniston, Cameron Diaz and Courtney Cox, it’s only natural we’ve jumped on the CLEAN bandwagon as well.
On magazine covers that is…According to the Audit Bureau of Circulations and Rapid Report in the US, her August cover for GQ was that magazine’s top selling cover of the year! And that wasn’t the only big seller. Other covers featuring Mila for Cosmopolitan in February, W in March and a shared Elle cover with Justin Timberlake in August made the sales rise as well.
I was triggered by the article on fashionista.com about how much brands pay for celebs to sit front-row. I’m still planning to write an article about the secrets of the front-row. Like why it is so important to have a famous front-row (media attention!!!), why get those rich people the best goodiebags (not fair!!!) and what do you have to do to get a front-row seat (become a blogger, LOL).
