We don’t need to remind you we love food. But edible accessories might be a bit over the top. It’s something we need to think about. Because stopping the urge to bite your bag because you’re hungry and there’s nothing edible around could be a problem…

Festivals are hot! And H&M totally took on that vibe. The latest Fashion Againts Aids collection is all about festivals. Even tents and sleepingbags are featured. So what better to check if the collection is cohesive with the festival style than asking festival-visitors at the Coachella festival?
My boss asked me several times if he can carry a bag. My answer is always the same: “Yes you can!” Really, why can’t men carry a purse? Forget the old cliché that a man needs a woman, so he can put his credit cards and car keys in her evening bag; a man can walk alone nowadays, and indulge in buying designer accessory too.
We all know the preppy and vintage styled people who pose on the street for streetstyle photographers like The Sartorialist, Garance Doré, Facehunter and of course our one and only Digi. E. But spotting trends on the street is in fact nothing new! Watch this: a trend page of ELLE Magazine May 1986. How cool is that, huh?!
Just a little monday morning inspiration from Wildfox Couture. We love this young, fresh and quirky hipster brand! The images of the Fall 2010 lookbook are a little teen witch inspired. Suddenly it’s very cool to discover the dark side of yourselves. Think about Twilight, The Vampire Diaries….
Good news for the recessionistas among us: there’s always a way to reproduce a designer look with some creativity and handiness. Fashionwebsite WhoWhatWear has a good example to make your own S/S ’10 Chloe denim look. And yes, it’s THAT easy!
Men always ask me if they can wear accessories. Can a man wear a handbag? Or a cool necklace? The answer is yes. But only if you pick the right ones! The accessories straight men wear (gay men can wear anything) must be very cool in a classic, quirky, nonchalant or stylish way. A good example is the leather bow tie necklace from Baptiste Viry. You will absolutely stand out if you wear this suede bow at an ordinary black tie party where every boring man wears the same ugly, short bow in Bordeaux red, grey or black with stripes on it. I will go for you, that’s for sure!
Kate Moss has recently discovered the IRO Kilav holed tee, but the brand is one of my favorite French brands since years. It’s very wearable, on-trend, with some edge to it, and they use beautiful materials. I have this silk skirt from Iro which I bought a few years ago, but still wear because it still looks good.
Bugs are hot! And do we like that? Yes, now we do. First we thought: please no bugs! They scare us off…(especially bedbugs from London. Long story short; we almost had to sleep on the street during London Fashion Week in September because the apartment we booked was full of bedbugs!) But once we’ve seen them on the runway, we adore bugs! (Or the (scarab) beetle to be specific) We spotted them as cool accessories on the runway at Diane van Furstenberg and Bottega Veneta.
Last season Dgitalista E. and I bought the same pair of grey tapered trousers at River Island. We are still very fond of them, I even found a similar pair in black on Sale a few days ago. And if we have to believe Italian label Iceberg, the trousers will…
