Photography is one of Digitalista E’s passions. It’s great to see a picture in everything while walking around the streets, looking for a perspective, colors, shadows, interesting people and a story to tell through her photographs. If she had the choice she would carry around her camera every second of the day while traveling around the world.
German photographer Tomaas makes a fashion statement with everyday plastic such as water bottles, forks, plastic bags and straws. “Plastic is the new black!”
It is actually one of my favourite songs from Sting. ‘An Englishman in New York’ can be interpreted in many ways, and I was very much inspired by the way UK brand Ben Sherman translated the theme in their A/W ’12 campaign, in collaboration with Dazed & Confused. They presented the collection in Amsterdam yesterday, and I had a little chat with Mark Maidment, Creative Director of the brand. Read the interview after the jump >>>

2011 is Digi E’s freshmen year in PR land as she can call herself a real PR lady for fashion and lifestyle PR agency Spice PR since July. And she’s definitely lovin’ it next to her job as a Digitalista! Well, travelling around Europe (twice a year to Stockholm, twice a year to London, twice a year to Copenhagen, at least) to represent fabulous fashion brands isn’t that bad at all. She already signed up for KLM Flying Blue membership… Halleluja!
