A nice music tip for our Dutch readers: the club tour of Gare du Nord. A sexy jazz band from the Netherlands. They’ve got some steamy jazz songs which not only the hardcore jazz fan will adore. Digitalista. M just bought their CD Sex ‘n Jazz and plays it almost every night to get relaxed before she goes to sleep. On October 2th she will also visit one of their concerts at Tivoli in Utrecht. A few years ago I bought a CD (yes, I still buy CD’s from time to time) from Emilie Simon. Her first album. The one where she has ladybugs all over her. It was after I heard a great remix of one of her songs, Desert. Unfortunately the remix was not on the CD, but her fragile voice captured me. Remember the Paris based rock-pop band Les Plastiscines, Digitalista M. is fan of? Well they are still not very well known in the Netherlands (well, actually M. heard one of their songs in the H&M lately…), but that is still a matter of time, she guess.
