Cointreauversial. An interesting wordplay that captures the essence of following your own path in life. It’s exactly how model and spokesperson for Cointreau, Dita von Teese, explains the underlying meaning of the tagline ‘Be Cointreauversial’: “Live your life the way you want to, make choices that bring you satisfaction without being led by the expectation of others.” In other words: be true to yourself.
During a weekend-trip to Ibiza, Digi K experimented a little with taking pictures….While her friend was driving the car, she took some cool snapshots. See more after the jump >>>>
It’s not only women and shoes in the latest issue of Antidote Magazine‘s ‘Shoe Issue’. We also like this editorial realized by Giampaolo Sgura, with the help of Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana!
Just a random selection after the jump. For the whole story you’ll have to go fetch your own copy of Antidote magazine…>>>
Day 6 at LFW featured menswear. Let’s not forget that the British have an important history in menswear and tailoring.
Unfortunately London Fashion Week has ended. Now the fashion caravan is moving to Milan. But you can still enjoy a little LFW with some menswear highlights from TOPMAN and Christopher Shannon after the jump >>>
A show and party we regret to have missed is Mulberry‘s. They create these great themes every time, and this one would have suited us quite well. It was all about having summertime fun on the British Coast and a lot of sweetness.
Women have a complex relationship with shoes. We love to hate them. We love them because all women fit in designer shoes, in contrary to designer clothing (remember Toni Colette’s line in the movie ‘In her Shoes’?), but we often suffer while wearing them, which also makes us hate them. Oh well, ‘Il faut soufrir pour être belle’ like the French would say. We bet you’ll forgive the designer beauties once you put them on your feet. Don’t forget that these divine objects give you height and elegance.
Superb magazine Antidote‘s second theme issue is a wonderful tribute to shoes. More about this soon….Watch the teaser-video after the jump. Fashion Photographer and special contributor to this issue, Giampaolo Sgura’s view on shoes…>>>
So you think you can dance has got serious competitors. Some big names in fashion got inspired by dance as well. Black Swan and its costumes designed by Rodarte might have instigated this new trend, it’s definitely on a roll for some new campaign videos. From breakdance to flamenco. If you don’t show the moves, you ain’t cool.
2011 is Digi E’s freshmen year in PR land as she can call herself a real PR lady for fashion and lifestyle PR agency Spice PR since July. And she’s definitely lovin’ it next to her job as a Digitalista! Well, travelling around Europe (twice a year to Stockholm, twice a year to London, twice a year to Copenhagen, at least) to represent fabulous fashion brands isn’t that bad at all. She already signed up for KLM Flying Blue membership… Halleluja!
Check out Digi E’s lovely photo diary and her fast and fabulous life every once and a while.
Having a tasty capuccino with our name (actually our favorite abbreviation- our complete name wouldn’t fit) on it is quite an honor. Especially made by an Illy caffe barrista at the Unlimited PR blogger-event today. That’s what we call a coffee break in style.
