Last night, the prestigious Amstel Hotel was fully crowded with a mix & match of Dutch fashion-minded people, it-girls, presenters, entrepreneurs, actors & journalists. On the occasion of the first annual Glamour NL Woman of the Year Award, a not-so-modest Monday gathering erupted – in what probably is Amsterdam’s most beautiful & luxurious hotel.

Sissi and Franz-Josef reincarnated as Cara Delevingne and Pharrell Williams?! It takes a little adapting to this unexpected scenery, but we admit we kinda like this Sissi 2.0 version.

So during these current Press Days us Digi’s have seen a lot. We visited some (Amsterdam based) PR firms to take a sneak-peek for the new SS15 collections of Calvin Klein jewelry, Uggs, Tosca Blu, Wemoto, Eastpak, Edwin & WE, and HUGO BOSS amongst others. We already saw a lot of inspirational stuff but sometimes, there’s this one item that catches your attention.
From the iconic club night O.W.A.P to the legendary Club ROxY: last Thursday we had a flashback to the 90s. As a tribute to the modern day dance scene, Red Bull hosted an exclusive event during ADE called Red Bull PLAYROOMS. With DJs from back in the days, former famous clubs and their party nights, they all came back to life, each in their own ‘playroom’.
Next week is the much anticipated opening of & Other Stories Amsterdam, and that’s not the only thing we’re excited about.
