This place was already hyped by bloggers and magazines and it took us a little longer before we landed there ourselves. Last weekend though, was the perfect time to enjoy a (late) hangover brunch at Paper Planes.

If there’s one specific place where the Catanian locals gather, it is probably Via Santa Filomena. A narrow street just around the corner from the Bellini Park and packed with various eateries.
From the outside you still notice the 20’s Art Deco façade, behind which used to house a theater. Now it’s our capital’s new hyped hotspot: Coffee and Coconuts.
Beware! These little pastries are seriously addictive! I have had them twice in a weekend for B-day occasions, but even on a regular ‘I need to spoil myself’- moment I would definitely opt for these delish mini tarts.
One of the best dinners I have ever had was one with a cocktail pairing. They turn out to be more interesting than just food + wine pairing.
