“For the past 25 years, I’ve been working as a chef for parties, weddings, and birthdays. I’ve also worked in Michelin Star restaurants in The Netherlands and abroad such as Troisgras in Roanne, De Kerstentuin in Amsterdam and Le Canard Sauvage in Vinkeveen. Next to this people know me as an author of cook books, culinary photographer, journalist, TV chef, and part of the jury for Master Chef.”

How will Alain Caron celebrate Christmas this year?

“In the best way possible; with my family. Being together with the people I love; that is what Christmas is about. Plus, upcoming weekend I’ll be cooking at Taste of Christmas to already get into the Christmas mood.”

What does Alain Caron’s Christmas dinner look like?

“Good food, and good company. I’m looking forward to a beautiful, tasty and above all pleasant dinner.”

What is his golden tip for the ultimate Christmas dinner?

“Don’t make the cooking to difficult, and make sure that the evening is festive. The preparations are essential for this. Prepare most of it a day in advance so that you can be with your guests during dinner.”
