Every year for the holidays, Diptyque launches an exclusive collection of candles to celebrate the spirit of the season. The special scents are original fragrances that are only available for a limited time around the holidays.
This year, the scents are Épice, Hiver and Résine – three delicious, poetic candles that capture an ethereal spirit of winter. Plus, the special candles jars are designed to create gorgeous shadows as the candlelight dances.
Épice is warm and vibrant, with yummy cinnamon tones offset by round plum. Hiver – the French word for “winter” – is crisp and evocative, reminiscent of a chilly wind that warms by a food fire with roasting chestnuts.
Résine, which is green in colour, immediately reminds of a pine tree; it’s waxy and woody with hints of bark, crushed needles and resin.
