Sweet Saturday Sounds @ Benicássim Festival Day 1 + 2

FIB (Festival Internacional Benicássim) has quite the line-up! Today is already the 3rd day, but the previous 2 days we’ve enjoyed the likes of Ellie Goulding, Tinie Tempah, Chase & Status, Tom Odell, Jake Bugg and Kasabian.

Ellie Goulding got the crowd going loco when she hit the drums and concluded her performance with her hit track ‘Burn’. It is a challenge to capture the gigs on video while standing in the midst of the crowd, but we believe it’s worth the try, and luckily so do other fesvtival go-ers.

The New Look girls interviewed Tinie Tempah after his show (we’ll share the video as soon as it is available) and even after throwing out a burst of energy during his show he was quite the gentleman!

Chase & Status are my personal favorites, and it’s surprising to see how the audience still jumps up and down at 3 am after a long day of sweltering heat and loads of beer.

Last night while chilling at our usual hang out in the VIP area -the cute Finca-like terrace with the pink blossoms on the ceiling-  we were coincidently settled on the right spot, as it is used as a backdrop for several interviews, and Sergio Pizzorno from Kasabian came out to do his with the Spanish channel TVE. A bit shy yet friendly he took 5 minutes to pose with some fans, and our girl Hedia quickly squeezed in for a snapshot.
