Summer is almost here, and it’s the perfect time of year to give your skincare routine a revamp. One of my all-time favourite brands, Origins, has the perfect glow-getting products for summertime – they’re fresh, easy-to-use, and leave skin feeling squeaky clean.
I begin by washing with the A Perfect World Antioxidant Cleanser with White Tea, which gently removes makeup and deeply cleanses beneath pores. While I’m generally not a fan of creamy formulas, this one foams up beautifully and really leaves my skin feeling clean. The added white tea works to calm irritations, fight signs of ageing and hydrate dry spots.
I cannot live without tonics, so I follow the cleanser with a few swipes of the United State Balancing Tonic across my face. I love to see extra bits of dirt snatched up on the cotton pad! Soy protiens, spearmint and lavender work to hydrate and nourish skin, leaving it feeling moisturized instead of dry.
Origins’ products are developed using the powers of plant science, meaning they are almost all natural and leave out yucky chemicals like phthalates, synthetic dyes, synthetic fragrances and sulfates. It’s without a doubt one of the most effective product lines I’ve encountered.
