Living in The Netherlands means getting used to whimsical weather circumstances. Wardrobe-wise our minds are fully on summer mode, but it’s cold and rainy at the moment, and we were thinking about indispensable ‘in between’ items you can layer with.
So we quickly came up with the silk shirt. It’s easy to wear formal or casual, but of high quality to boast a luxe feel.
A label that specializes in silk shirts is Equipment. It was once founded by Christian Restoin (Carine Roitfeld’s hubby), and in 2011 Serge Azria (Current/Elliot, Joie) took the helm of the French company, changing Equipment into a luxury shirt brand that caters to the modern woman.
The Lynn printed silk shirt is a perfect example of a classy, summery button-down shirt which can be matched with a pair of dressed trousers and a blazer for the office or white shorts as a casual attire.
