Skins Cosmetics Opens at Hotel De L’Europe

If you’re a frequent reader of TheDigi’s then you know we are huge fans of Skins Cosmetics. It’s one of the best cosmetics shops and spa chains in Holland, with locations across the country in Amsterdam, Breda, Den Haag, Oisterwijk, Groningen, Laren, Oosterbeek and Rotterdam. And Skins has just opened its newest location in Amsterdam at the Hotel De L’Europe!

The 400 square meter spa is the epitome of luxury; located below the hotel, it’s at canal level and overlooks the water. The space has four treatment rooms (which can be used for single or double/couple use), a full beauty salon for hair and makeup, an infrared sauna, Turkish bath, traditional Finnish sauna, indoor swimming pool with jet stream, whirlpool, fitness centre, beauty boutique and a relaxation area overlooking the Amstel.

I recently toured the space and was very impressed by the sense of serenity and calmness it exudes. The indoor swimming pool is particularly impressive, as only giant windows separate the pool from the canal.

Skins uses only the best – and often all natural – products throughout its signature treatments, including Marie Veronique Organics, Rodin, Patyka, Dr. Sebagh and Coola. Facials begin at €45 and massages from €75.
