The 4 colors in the palette are based on tweed yarns from the iconic Chanel jackets and perfectly complement each other. A new formula was used to create a texture which is softer on appliance and long lasting.
Each palette offers a variety of possibilities; be it intense, uniform or glossy. The dark hues create depth, the glossy colors maintain their sheerness and the metallics add shine and elegance.
Chanel Les 4 Ombres consists of 8 harmonies, each containing 4 colors to combine and create a unique look:
Tissé Camélia: Natural and rosy hues inspired by a camée
Tissé Riviéra: A playful palette with metallic blue, matte black, grey and soft pink
Tissé Vendôme: Orange, fruity palette with peach, apricot and earthy tones
Tissé Rivoli: Nude colors such as gold shimmering taupe, sheer pink-beige, golden beige and a brown-red hue
Tissé Gabriëlle: A classic palette for smokey eyes. Soft grey, iridescent gold, velvety dark grey and greyish mauve
Tissé Cambon: Reflects Chanel’s femininity with a trio of subtle hues like pale blue-ish pink, iridescent mauve and velvety red-purple set against intense pink
Tissé Mademoiselle: For an elegant and natural look; a palette of intense beige and brown hues
Tissé Vénitien: Inspired by the emerald canals of Venice; blue-green, silver pink, intense green and platinum khaki make a hypnotising green composition
The eyeshadow palettes are completed with waterproof mascara -available in three colors; Noir 10, Brun 20 and Vert Grisé 30 (limited edition)- and the ‘stylo yeux waterproof’ in Smokey Grey 905 (limited edition), Marron Glacé 906, Iris 908 and Blue Métallique 909.
Chanel Les 4 Ombres Eye Collection is available at selected beauty retailers and Chanel Boutiques. Prices are: €50 for an eyeshadow palette, €31,50 for the waterproof mascara and €24 for the eyeliners.
