Sometimes you’ve got these periods that you just don’t now what’s trending anymore. Well, for me this is one of those. There’s nothing new to be seen. Leather trousers, sweatshirts and flower prints; we’ve seen it all before. But something I noticed which I don’t own yet: a maxi coat. Next in line after the maxi dress and maxi skirt.
The maxi coat look is less feminine than the maxi skirt or dress; it has a more androgynous twist to it. Besides, sneakers or flat shoes are it’s best friend. Combine your duster coat, or maxi cardigan, with a basic top, a boyfriend jeans and a pair of round sunglasses. A bit too boyish for you? Go for a soft red lipstick and subtle jewelry.
I’m totally in love with the blue gray duster coat by ASOS. The color totally suits spring and is perfect in combination with denim. The lace cardigan by H&M is more romantic and can be combined with a black dress for an exciting date night. Which coat is your favorite?
