February Essentials

photoAre winter months taking a toll on your skin? Below are my six must-have products for February – also known as my winter regime to keep skin from peeling and flaking!

1 – Essie Apricot Cuticle Oil

My cuticles take a beating in winter (think lots of dinner parties and dish-doing), but this delicious apricot oil works to strengthen and moisturize my nails and cuticles. My embarrasing cracked skin is instantly rehydrated.

Get it: at select Essie Professional Application salons.

2 – Kiehl’s First Class Purifying Hand Treatment

While this cream is intended as a carry-on while flying, I rely on it whether or not I’m on an airplane. It’s working to keep my hands soft and knuckles free from cracking.

Get it: Kiehl’s.

3 – Sans Soucis Daily Vitamins Moisturizer

Packed with antioxidants from berries, this ultra-rich daily moisturizer is keeping my face hydrated, supple and soft during chilly, windy months. Added bonus: it smells like berries.

Get it: Sans Soucis.

4 – Filorga Meso Mask

Once a week, this mask works wonders to deeply cleanse and rebalance my skin. Because it can sit for 15-30 minutes, I generally apply while soaking in a warm bubble bath.* Healthy glow guaranteed. (*Accompanying glass of wine optional, but certainly recommended).

Get it: Filorga retailers.

5 – REN Moroccan Rose Otto Ultra Moisture Body Oil

My favorite body solution for winter! It’s a lightweight oil that doesn’t leave skin feeling greasy in the slightest. I use all over my arms and legs to keep my skin from feeling tight and dry. It also smells divine.

Get it: Skins Cosmetics.

6 – Clarins One-Step Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser

My go-to gentle exfoliating cleanser with orange extract. I use it two to three times a week to slough away dry, dead skin. Always leaves my face feeling bright and refreshed.

Get it: at Douglas stores.
