REBECCA_WARD_AFWF14_W_21_JAMJAMPRWard displayed a beautiful torment, designs conveying an array of emotion, many of it dark and distressed with hints of romanticism.

Exploring the depth of human psychology and emotion the collection was inspired by the novel Steppenwolf by Herman Hesse. Structured bodices featured intricate design techniques, laser cut and prints portrayed despair and depression.

As the show progressed the lower half of the dresses became more focal, juxtaposed against the rigid bodice. Opulent tiered designs in the skirt introduced light and prosperity to the collection, highlighted through colour development.
