The campaign – titled Behind Closed Doors and shot by photographer Miles Aldridge – shows a model carrying out domestic chores like washing the floors, vacuuming and doing the dishes.
With plenty of pretty lace, gingham and embroidery, this collection is seriously lust-worthy. The hair and makeup, on the other hand, could have been slightly more inspirational. Brown eye shadow and orange-red lip are not only mismatch, but they are a bit bland in combination with the fuzzy afro-esque hair.
The model is 18-year-old Californian Hailey Clauson; we’ve got to hand it to her for channeling a 40-something Stepford Wife so well.
“It’s a fantasy of silk and lace in the modern day world,” says creative director Sarah Shotton. “I was interested in the irony behind the idea of the ‘perfect’ woman, unfazed by the everyday pressures of life. Our campaign girl has it all, she’s a lady in the street and a wildcat in the bedroom and the collection mirrors her pretty perfection.”
