I’ve always had a weak spot for sequins. It doesn’t matter if it’s Easter, summer holiday or a regular cocktail night; I wear glitter. Fortunately it’s almost Christmas and New Years Eve, which means: sequins all the way!
Yes, really, you can go all-glitter during these holidays, especially during NYE. My favorite this season are the sequin trousers, in particular a metallic colored one. I would combine this item with a black sheer blouse and a sequined blazer. To finish my look I would go for basic black pumps, red lipstick and of course a big statement ring. If that’s a bit much glitter for your taste, just go for a fabulous sequined dress and maybe a little sequined clutch. Not a sequin fan at all? Sequins are equal to parties, that’s perhaps why I’m such a big fan. The feeling of the roaring twenties and the reminder of the flapper dress would probably let every fashionista’s heart beat faster. To me, an outfit with sequins gives every woman class and elegance. Don’t confuse sequins with basic glitters; glitters are tacky (most of the time). May that be clear. Be partyproof with sequins, be the sparkle of the night!
