The Rein City Spa in an absolute gem in Amsterdam – I only wish I had found it sooner!

The spa offers a wide variety of treatments, including facials, massages, waxing and – the best part – it has a full manicure and pedicure bar. Just because winter is coming, it doesn’t mean we can start to neglect our nails! In fact, I find that a good nail treatment is a sure way to lift my spirits when grey winter weather starts to settle in.

After my busy work week, I was more than happy to sit back on the pedicure bench while my toes soaked in soapy water before they were given royal treatment. The service is ultra-thorough and met my high standards, especially the pretty pink polishing to boot. My finger nails have also been primed and polished, in a nude OPI hue called Passion. Before I left, the friendly staff even helped me redress in my scarf and coat, to help me from potentially smudging my nails!

Rein City Spa offers a slew of special services, like pre-natal massages, manicures and pedicures for men, full body waxing, and the OPI Gel Color manicure.

The décor is tranquil and beautiful, with tones of white and aqua blue throughout. Treatment rooms are kept super clean, and one room even has a sliding wall so that two people can receive treatments at the same time. It’s the perfect gift for a friend or partner to celebrate a special occasion.

The manicure and pedicure bar can accommodate up to 10 people simultaneously and is an ideal setting for birthday celebrations, bachelorette parties or baby showers.
