Amsterdam keeps adding nice shops to the nine streets area. One of these must-visit boutiques is the brandstore from Dutch label ANECDOTE.
Which used to be a garage has now transformed in a cosy and fresh shop filled with the brand’s familiar knitwear and seasonal essentials, completed with trousers and dresses made of viscose-wool blend for a comfortable fit, and leather accessories such as belts, bags and pouches.
The label was founded by Jetteke van Beuningen and leans upon anecdotes and snap-shots of life: “It’s the things that happen to us, the stories we share with our friends and family”. Everywhere in the store -either obvious or hidden- you’ll find these anecdotes popping-up.
