No worries, there was no endangered species involved to make this pencil skirt. Christopher Kane opted for goat leather to replicate the motif of a leopard.
Nevertheless, it is still quite an investment for a leather skirt, and therefore it made it as a Friday Fashion Envy.
The skirt is part of Kane’s pre-fall ’13 collection, and since it is such an eyecatcher, be careful to not ‘over-style’ it. Wear it with a plain white or black top, or a thin gray cashmere jumper and a pair of pointy pumps.
