A contemporary version of a gallery of wonders is how we could describe conceptstore ANNA + NINA as it is filled with a variety of items which somehow seem to blend perfectly.
ANNA + NINA is named after its owners, Anna De Lanoy Meijer and Nina Poot. Originally the girls were looking for a showroom for their representative agency, but when they stumbled upon this location in the very heart of the popular ‘de Pijp’-area, they decided to turn it into a small concept store.
A very good choice, because even if ANNA + NINA opened a few months ago already, you’ll find new stuff each time you visit. Wether it’s jewellery -the girls represent several labels such as Jewel Rocks, Ela Stone and Holst + Lee- or coffee cups, and everything in between. No more excuses for skipping Birthdays, this is a cavern of Ali Baba for gift shopping!
The buzz goes fast, as the shop features in Vogue NL’s September issue, and my friends are simultaneously asking for ANNA + NINA gift cards. We guess the secret of their success is the homely vibe (you can also have coffee and cake in the back of the shop) and the fact you’ll unintentionally find something to buy, just because you were drawn in by curiosity.
