The NX300 is Samsung’s latest system camera, and doesn’t only work like a charm -as we have experienced- it also looks extremely stylish. It’s available in black, brown or white. I got the brown one, and I must say I like the classic, retro look of it.
But, as often said, don’t just judge by appearance. This cam has a lot to offer and has become serious competition for my Canon. For one, it is compact and easy to travel with. Plus, it has many functions that enables you to take pictures like a pro.
Now here’s a little summary of what happened last weekend…
We arrived in Portsmouth where we got a short introduction of the NX300 and its capabilities that we were to test right on the spot, to start with an adrenaline rush on a speedboat. After a quick change (everything was high speed, even dressing up) -Suit&Tie recquired- we took off in direction of GoodWood. Good…what?! It’s a horseracing track. You know, that typical British stuff with fast running horses and people watching, drinking and betting on it. Followed up by a big ‘parté’, musically pumped up by DJ Rudimental. Now we actually know how the British youth parties…we secretly wished we were 15 again…
Hello London! We’ve got to challenge ourselves in becoming the ‘speedy tourist’, and make quick, yet fantastic shots of some of London’s touristic hotspots. Think: Trafalgar Square, Borough’s Market, the Shard, The London Eye and good ol’ Big Ben (and a hint of Usain Bolt). Still to continue in the rushy, speedy mode, we’ve concluded these exhilirating few days at dinner in Camden’s finest: Gilgamesh. Great food, belly dancers, fireworks and a magnum bottle of wodka…Imagine the hangover in the 6 am cab on the way to Heathrow the next morning.
Though, the NX300 doesn’t end with this, it was just the start. Stay tuned for the next step of the competition for which we will need all your help and votes!
