Once again, the native Sicily of Domenico Dolce turned out to be the major inspiration for the Dolce & Gabbana A/W’13 collection.
Also fresco’s and mosaics modeled after the 13th century cathedral Santa Maria Nuova de Monreale to continue the religious theme which is still going on strong at Dolce & Gabbana.
It was opulence like I haven’t seen since the 90’s. I used to wear these kind of big earrings. Maybe I should look for them again? The ancient-madonna-look seems like a good one for next winter season. At least we don’t have to through out all the red stuff out of the closet yet. Oxblood and gold it is for some first class ‘teatro fantastico’.
