I’m desperately seeking some sunshine in my life – and while I can’t charm mother nature into changing the Dutch climate, I can freshen up with summery scents that make me smile.
L’Occitane has a new line called Fleurs Merveilleuses (Magical Flowers), which is based on a bright, summery scent. Based on sparkling red fruits with peony and rose, the smell is super feminine and fresh. The Eau de Toilette is a great way to kick-start my morning, with it’s crisp floral extracts that awaken my scenes.
I don’t like to use too much of the same scent, for fear of dispersing an overpowering aroma everywhere I go. For my body I switch to another summery line from L’Occitane called Feuilles Magiques (Magical Leaves). It’s based on a more tangy sweet scent with extracts of verbena, hazel tree leaf and warm vanilla. The Body Milk is a non-greasy, lightweight formula that absorbs quickly – a must-have during dry winter months.
The Fleurs Merveilleuses and Feuilles Magiques collections are definitely working to brighten my winter … and I’ll certainly keep these in mind as stocking stuffers for the upcoming holiday season!
