Scruples White Tea

Did you know that sulfate is a common ingredient in shampoo?

Might not sound harmful, but think of it this way: sulfate is a like a detergent which is also used in garage and household cleaners and engine degreasers. Not only is this downright disgusting, but it can also be harmful to your health plus lead to thinning and loss of hair!

One of my latest hair care discoveries comes from Scruples, which produces a fabulous White Tea sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner. Natural ingredients like white tea leaf extract, orange flower and orange oil work to clean hair and prolong the life of a dye job (which means getting the most for your money).

Sulfates cause shampoo to lather into a thick foam and bubble, which is not necessarily a good thing. They damage coloured hair and can cause frizz for dry or curly hair. The White Tea collection won’t lather as much as other shampoos (on account of there being no sulfates in the formula), which takes some getting used to – but your hair will thank you! Plus it will work to extend highlights and dye, plus make curls curlier.
